The ‘Chitterling’ is a part of a pig that connects its lower intestinal tract to the outer anus. My first job in the abattoir was to clean excrement from Chitterlings with a high-powered tap.

 

I got my photographic works of Chitterlings printed onto t-shirts. I like to wear this t-shirt throughout daily activities: while doing the shopping; attending social events; and traveling on public transport, in order to bring a hidden and mostly unknown task of industrial labour into public spaces.
